Session 1: Make Your Mark Move with Animation-ish

Who: Terry Shay, Lead FableVision Ambassador and Music/Computer Educator at North Tama County Community School in Iowa & Andrea Calvin, Vice President of FableVision Learning

When: Monday, June 27, at 4 p.m.

What: Learn how Animation-ish can be used to encourage even the most reluctant artist make their mark in this hands-on session. FableVision's Lead Ambassador Terry Shay and FableVision Learning's Vice President Andrea Calvin will be on hand to guide you through Animation-ish and how to incorporate the program into your Dot Day celebrations.

Session 2: Creative Learning with Animation-ish

Who: John Long, Educational Technology Department Specialists, School District of Palm Beach County

When: Tuesday, June 28, at 10:30 a.m.

What: John Long, Educational Technology Specialist from the School District of Palm Beach County will showcase how to use Animation-ish as one of your core resources for teaching and learning. John will show examples of using it especially for English Language Arts with the Digital Fairytale and Digital Mystery stories. These projects are coaching and modeling examples of collaboration with district personnel and school media specialist and classroom teachers. He will share how the students create a group story then bring it to life using Animation-ish. The final step is to create an ebook to share. Projects are elementary level but can be expanded to secondary level as well.
